Fee Scale – Immigration Services

We charge on the basis of agreed fee in all immigration matters except Judicial Review and complex Appeal matters where we charge on hourly basis depending on the Solicitors’ PQE. Details of hourly rates in JR matters are:

  • Hourly Rate of Principal Solicitor: £409
  • Hourly Rate of Associate Solicitor: £296
  • Hourly Rate of Paralegal Staff: £138

Intisar Ali Chauhan

Intisar Ali Chauhan is the Principal solicitor and director of Chauhan Solicitors. He qualified in the year 2003 as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and has been practicing Immigration Law since then. He specializes in all sorts of immigration matters including; Point based applications, Non Point based applications, Corporate Immigration, Applications made under EUSS, Human Rights applications, Judicial Reviews, Immigration Appeals and Bail Applications and other non-specified complex immigration matters. He has successfully represented individuals, families and corporate entities in respect of their immigration matters. He recently successfully represented Mr. Ullah in his Court of appeal matter i.e https://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Civ/2024/201.html

Key Stages of Payment of Fee:

We take 50% of the fee in advance at the time of engagement of our services and the rest is payable before submitting the immigration applications / appeal to the home office or appellate authorities. Depending on the individual’s circumstances we may also be prepared to split the final payment in maximum two instalments to be paid within 2 months from the date of engagement of our services or from the date of submitting the immigration application / appeals, whichever is later.

We also offer to work on Pro bono basis to deserving individuals.

VAT

Chauhan Solicitors ltd. is registered with HMRC for VAT purposes and our VAT number is 213484230. We charge 20% VAT on all our services rendered to UK residents.

What is not included in the agreed fee?

Following costs of the immigration applications or immigration appeal or Judicial Review are not included in the agreed fee:
